You can absolutely use hair products like masks and leave-in conditioners on your hair extensions to keep them looking and feeling their best! When used properly, these products can help revive dull, dry extensions, especially after the harsh effects of winter weather.
Start by choosing sulfate-free and lightweight formulas to avoid product buildup that could weigh your extensions down.
Gently apply a nourishing hair mask from mid-lengths to ends, avoiding the roots where bonds or clips are attached. For leave-in conditioner, use a small amount on damp extensions to lock in moisture and add softness. By incorporating these steps into your routine, you’ll breathe life back into your extensions and enjoy a sleek, hydrated look all season long.
Using a Hair Oil on your hair extensions (the ends only!) can help keep them silky, especially after you wash them.
As we don't recommend a Hair Towel for your hair extensions - the best way to let them dry is laid out on a towel, we would HIGHLY recommend this for your own hair!
You want to always use a heat protectant when using hot tools. Always. You want your hot tool to be under 350 degrees. You can spray both hair extensions and your natural hair. This will help keep your extensions silky, longer!
